Walking around, aimless, lost in the crowd.
Trying to be heard, but the noises are too loud.
After a long day, coming home from fights,
Not getting a word in edgewise; lonely nights.

Welcome to my life, I'm only a ghost,
Not noticed by many, ignored by most.
Often want to break down, or even want to die,
Or cry my eyes out, but ghosts don't cry.

Finally a little freedom, out with some friends,
But ignored by you, the pain never ends.
Love shown one way, yet hate the other,
