I fall off the world,

To a new, blue world.

I hit the surface and slow.

Beauty flows in schools,

Swimming and flashing in colored groups.

The weight drags me past the lighted world.

I wave goodbye to air squeezed from burning lungs.

As the bubbles danced,

Rising back to the light,

I could not help but smile,

Here I could finally rest.

But…

I must wonder,

To where do I sink?

Where will my fate be sealed?
