I Can Do It

I CAN DO IT

A sigh, a deep sigh

And again he scratches his head

But he believes it can be done

This could be the time

It can be done

The world is changing

Strangers are to invade

From blackness above they come

To make us their slaves

It can be done

This could be the answer

But no one believes

To encase our planet with a force field unseen

It can be done

They laugh, they tease

And still don’t believe

That someone as different as me

Can save the planet from hungry thieves

It can be done

But, I believe and so try

I will with light and energy it will prevail

With my heart pounding and holding my breathe

I turn on the switch

It can be done

Wind in the air and shaking the ground

I look out my window to see color and light

Now we are protected and happy again

Beyond and the unseen will not come near for we are protected

It was done and I believed!!!
