“I Am” Poem

I am walking through life with a half empty glass.

I wonder will life really end.

I hear adventure take flight.

I want to know everything and still know nothing.

I am walking through life with a half empty glass.

I pretend life will never end.

I have escaped the grasp of death.

I touch the glass of life.

I worry the world will drown.

I cry when some lives end.

I am walking through life with a half empty glass.

I understand nothing is eternal.

I say stand out in a crowd.

I dream of eternity.

I try to be different but the same.
