Once alive,
But now a still hollow shell.
Finding one is said to be lucky.
But I did it…
Something I’ve been waiting to do for years
A whole sand dollar.
A Pure White Solid Disk.
Such an exquisite feeling to finally find a natural treasure.
 
Billions of tiny rocks and broken shells,
Yet even more grains of sand.
Water as far as the eye can see.
Even with all of that beauty,
To stumble upon one small treasure
Makes it all worth while
